Course Description:

This course aims to familiarize students with the real teaching practices carried out at different levels of school. This course emphasizes the importance of teaching competences necessary for becoming an effective class teacher.

Course Content:

Week 1	September, 16-20	Introduction to the course
Week 2	September /October, 30-04	Effective Teacher: Characteristics of an effective teacher : Teaching philosophy,your imaginary teacher
Week 3	October, 7-11	School Environment : People,Taking pictures of the school building,(classes):
Week 4	October, 14-18	Feast of Sacrifice
Week 5	October,21-25	School regulations,  teachers’  responsibilities ( Lecture week)  ministry of education
Week 6	October/ November, 28-01	Communication: Verbal and Non verbal communication, ( announcements: school boards, bulletin boards): T-S S-S S-T interaction
Week 7	November, 04-08	Classroom management  A :Rapport with the students, creating a   positive learning environment, seating arrangement
Week 8	November, 11-16	Midterm Week
Week 9	November, 18-22	Classroom Management: B: Time Management, Assertive Discipline, Setting the Class Norms:
